Quoting a custom project - what to do + best practices

Thank you for considering us for your custom project! No two projects are the same, and we want to make sure we make your vision come to life. What's the best way to go about getting a custom quote? We're glad you asked! Read on to learn about best practices, so we can send you a quote that is aligned with your project expectations.

  1. Figure out what you want.

This step may seem obvious, but it's crucial that you know what you are looking for! This helps us help you. Things you should consider: paper type? Paper thickness? What printing? What size? Any coatings, laminations, or embellishments? Any other customizations? Everyone has different ideas of "standard" vs "luxury" vs "unique" - what do they mean to you?

  1. Let us know what you want.

After you know the specifications of your desired project, let us know so we can get a quote started. You can submit a quote request online, via email, or via phone call. If you are confident about what you are looking for, we would advise submitting your request via website or email, so that everything is clearly laid out in writing. If you are still unsure and need to talk it out, please give us a call, and any of our representatives would be happy to help you out.

  1. Send us what you've got.

If you already have final art for your project, please send it our way. Having your art as a reference helps us confirm the printing and size specifications of your project. It also helps potentially avoid any problems between the quoting and ordering phase.

Additionally, if you have a physical sample of the project (or similar) that you are hoping to recreate, please send that to us! This is beneficial for quoting because we can match specs to the project. Ultimately, a physical sample will also be beneficial for production, as it helps us match any colors in your project.

Another crucial piece of information that you may have that we may need is a deadline. Please let us know if your important project has any due date so that we can best meet your needs.

  1. Let us know if you have any questions or revisions!

You will receive your custom quote from one of our representatives in the quoting department. If you have any questions, need any clarifications, or require any further assistance regarding the quote, please reach out directly to your representative. You may email them, or call and ask for them. Keeping in contact with the same representative throughout the quoting process helps streamline everything.

And now you’re ready to get started on your custom project! We are looking forward to helping bring your project to life.
