Placing a custom email order - here's what to expect

To begin, thank you so much for trusting us with your custom project! We feel privileged to make your idea come to life. There are a lot of printers out there, and we're sure sure that you don't want any surprises along the way. If you are placing an order with us via email, here's a general overview of what you can expect.


  1. Custom quote

First thing is first - we need to figure out what it is you want and how much it is going to cost. You can submit your custom quote in a few different ways. You can place your custom quote on our website here, you can call in (714) 289-7000, or you can directly email quotes@presentationfolder.com. Please include all relevant specs and any associated art files/photos.


  1. Quote approval

Once our team receives your specs, we’ll review everything and send over a detailed quote for your approval. This will include pricing, turnaround time, and any notes or recommendations from our production team. If you’d like to tweak something, maybe change a quantity, paper stock, or finish, no problem! We’re happy to adjust until it’s exactly right.

If you’re happy with the quote, simply reply to confirm you’d like to move forward. Your quote approval should indicate which option and quantity you would like to proceed with (if you received more than one option) and you should attach your print-ready artwork so we can be ready to roll.   1. Artwork check

After approval, our prepress team reviews your artwork to make sure everything is print-ready. That means checking file dimensions, color modes (CMYK), bleed areas, and resolution. If we spot anything that could affect print quality, we’ll let you know and help you fix it before printing begins.


  1. Proof and work order approval

Once your file is prepped and approved, we’ll send you a digital proof for review. We will also send a work order, similar to the quote, to confirm specs and pricing one final time. This is your chance to double-check placement, spelling, and layout before anything goes to print. Take a good look - we want you to love the final result! Once you give the green light, we’ll move your project into production.


  1. Production

This is where the magic happens. Your order is printed, cut, scored, folded, and finished according to your specs. Whether that includes spot UV, foil stamping, or embossing, our team ensures everything meets our quality standards. Production timelines vary depending on the complexity of your project, but we’ll always give you an estimated ship date so you know what to expect.


  1. Shipping and delivery

When your order is complete, we carefully package it to protect your prints during transit and ship it out using your chosen method. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as it’s on the way. This will come directly from the shipper (ie: FedEx, UPS) so look for that info from them. We ship nationwide, so whether you’re local or across the country, your order will arrive safe and ready to impress.


  1. Enjoy your finished product!

Once your project is in hand, we’d love to see how you’re using it! Tag us on social media or send us a photo - it truly makes our day to see our work out in the world. And of course, if you need a reorder or want to try something new next time, we’re just an email away.
